The Sean Pagelow Band

Sean Pagelow

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sean started playing music at the age of 10. His recording career as a guitar and harmonica player was on its way by the time he turned 12.

Sean has contributed to records made by several bands including The Michael Smith Band, and Left to Wright, where he was a founding member. In 2003, he formed the Sean Pagelow Band.

Sean categorizes his music as Nor-Cal Rock with roots in bands like Journey, Steve Miller Band, and Jefferson Airplane. Merging and melding in other musical influences such as The Doobie Brothers, Blur, Toto, The Gorillas, Lionel Ritchie, Buddy Guy, and The Doors (to name a few), Sean updates both the sound and feeling to create something fresh and exciting.

Sean’s music is a collage of various different styles, combining Pop-rock, Alternative, Jazz as well as Rhythm and Blues. The music manifests its own blend of rich sounds, diverse melody lines and well thought out guitar solos. The unique composition styles and chordal structures used are accessible, yet challenge the popular standards of today.

Both casual fans and music business professionals describe Sean's music as as both different and refreshing – a hot new style of music capturing thoughts and feelings through the voyage of song.

Whether the audience is thousands of people, an intimate handful of friends, or 3 pigeons by the bay, Sean always has fun performing and thrives on the very real heat and passion generated by live performances. It’s a natural high.

Sean plays and creates music because it’ what he loves. And when you're lucky enough to pursue what you love to do, it shows in the quality of your craft.
